Do you want to notify users only on replies to their WordPress comments? By default, there is no way for users to know if someone replied to their comment on your WordPress website. In this article, we will show you how to easily notify users only on replies to their WordPress comments.

First thing you need to do is install and activate the Subscribe to Comments Reloaded plugin. For more details, see our step by step guide on how to install a WordPress plugin.

Upon activation, you need to visit STCR » Comment Form page to configure plugin settings.

Under the ‘Advanced Subscription’ option you need to click on ‘Yes’ and then select the default subscription type to ‘Replies to this comment’.

Don’t forget to click on the save changes button to store your settings.

You can now visit any post on your website and below the comment form you will see the subscription option.

Subscribe to Comments Reloaded also allows your users to subscribe to all comments on an article with or without leaving a comment. Users can also unsubscribe at any time on their own.
